Graffiti artist Sweet Toof’s works have no doubt brought a smile to your face – and now there’s a chance to see a new series of original work at a solo exhibition, called Sweet Revenge.
Gaining recognition since starting throughout 80s and 90s, where his letterforms and street styles have evolved alongside a rigorous academic practice as a realist painter and sculptor, Sweet Toof is heavily influenced by the Vanitas paintings of 16th century Europe, Mexican Day of the Dead, Subway Art, and the underground comics of Vaughn Bodé. His characteristic gummy chompers are a true fusion of street and studio.
Tasty stuff.
