A bigger production this week for Frank Hamilton

Each week we bring you the latest track by Frank Hamilton from his project One Song A Week, which sees him write, record and release one song a week for a whole year.

On Monday Frank met up with singer/ songwriter  Lauren Aquilina to write this week’s track.

The tune, titled, If I Die Tomorrow is “a much bigger production than usual,” says Frank, as he used drums and bass for the recording.

“This week’s song has been so much fun to work on,” he says, “having a bass in the house is awesome and from the ukelele’s to the guitars I’ve enjoyed every bar.  My ears are absolutely fried and I’m sure my neighbours hate me even more than they usually do on Thursdays.”

Frank is so happy about the song he says,  ”I’m thinking about how it’s going to sound on the album!”

Frank’s favourite lyrics are “There’s something that I think that you should know coz life is short and I might die tomorrow, you know i wouldn’t say it if I knew it wasn’t true, the best days are the ones I spent with you.

Frank will be playing a free one-off show on Clapham Common this Sunday July 22.  It’ll be an unplugged, picnic style affair so bring drinks and nibbles.
