Fashion week to most people means big sunglasses, catwalks, a tote bag and womenswear, with just one day set aside for menswear. But this week three days are going to be purely dedicated to men’s fashion.
London Collections: Menswear will get under way with a showcase of British brands. Iconic designers such as Margaret Howell, heritage brands and Savile Row tailors such as Richard James and E Tautz will be showcasing their new collections on the catwalk. The event is set to emphasise both the creative and commercial importance of Britain’s brands and emerging talent in men’s fashion.
As well as the showcases and catwalk shows, shoppers can experience a taste of the fashion action at the Seven Dials Presents pop up shops representing exciting designers including Noel Stewart, Martine Rose, Alex Mattsson and Astrid Anderson from June 14 – 20 at 15 Shorts Gardens in Seven Dials. British menswear brand TOBEFRANK will also unveil their SS13 Collection to the public at a new pop up shop at 1 -3 Shelton Street.
Expect a few man bags, a couple of posers and lots of sunglasses.
