Are you taking the peace? Comedians aim to raise a laugh and some cash

Comedy and something as serious as world peace have never exactly been natural bedfellows (we’re looking at you, Frankie Boyle). Nonetheless, NGO International Alert  is having a crack at putting the two together with a fund-raising event featuring some of the best-known names on the circuit.

The likes of Sean Hughes, Zoe Lyons, Richard Herring, Patrick Monahan and Tiernan Douieb will be taking to the stage at The Bloomsbury Theatre to raise a laugh and some cash in the process.

We’re well up for a peace of this action.
