A Diamond Party: The EDF Energy London Eye

In celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the team at the EDF Energy London Eye is giving 30 lucky Scout London readers the chance to win two tickets to enjoy a trip on the London Eye during the Diamond Jubilee weekend, on June 4 at 9.30am.

Winners will be able to take in London’s panoramic views during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, as well as look in depth at specific landmarks on the new Samsung Galaxy interactive touch screen guides which were installed at the beginning of 2012. In addition, the winner and their guests will get free entry into the 4D Experience. This showcases a film displaying the first ever 3D aerial photography over London, as well as live effects such as wind, snow and bubbles, giving the winners a truly four dimensional experience.

And as if that weren’t enough, the winners will also be able to join in with the onsite Jubilee street party where the most iconic moments in Britain since the Queen’s coronation in 1952 will be celebrated with onsite decorations and themed musical dance performances bringing to life Her Majesty’s reigning years. In true Jubilee spirit Union Jack bunting and flags will add to the patriotic theme, as well as the opportunity to spot a few familiar look-a-likey faces from the past six decades, whilst younger visitors will be offered a free crown or flag. With all the excitement of the Diamond Jubilee in London, this will be a great way to celebrate the weekend.
