Wiley, Skepta and P Money headline Converse Block Party

Converse UK has announced full details for Converse Block Party, featuring performances from some of the UK’s best grime artists including Scout London favourite Wiley, Skepta, P- Money, Clement Marfo & the Frontline and Newham Generals. Hosted at the Old Vic Tunnels in London, Converse Block Party is a free-ticketed event taking place on Sunday April 29, 2012.

Leading up to the big event, JD Sports hosted a series of MC Clashes, inviting MCs to battle it out for a chance to perform at Converse Block Party.  The in-store competitions took place throughout March 2012 generating three finalists who will compete at the Converse Block Party to win the grand prize of recording and releasing their own track on legendary urban label, No Hats No Hoods.

The Old Vic Tunnels will be transformed into an underground urban festival featuring live graffiti demonstrations by two of Britain’s most prolific graffiti artists Neas and Vibes and a skate ramp with appearances from Jerome Campbell, Rory Milanes and Harry Lintell from the Converse UK Skateboarding team.

Tickets are free of charge and available online.
