Club of the weekend: Superfreq E’special (Sat 3 Mar)

We might never forgive Mr C for closing The End but thankfully memories of his fine London establishment are still strong and his Superfreq night keeps the spirit of the club alive.

This Saturday, it’s a Superfreq E’special at Paramount; celebrating ten years of fabulous parties.

Joining the former The Shamen front man and fellow residents Luke vB and Dollz At Play is the first lady of techno, Magda.

Magda recently left Richie Hawtin’s M_nus imprint to concentrate on her own label, Items & Things, which she runs with Troy Pierce and Marc Houle. This represents an exciting new chapter in her career. 2012 is certainly promising to be a landmark year not least because she will be releasing a full studio album. All the while, she is continuing to develop her unique DJing style, transcending genres and bringing emotions to the dancefloor.

Advance tickets have sold out but Mr C has informed us that 100 tickets will be held on the door. You should get there early because demand is high and it’s first-come, first-served.
