Today was supposed to be the day that the new bus for London – better known as the new Routemaster – made its appearance on the streets of London.
Transport for London has now had to delay their introduction to service by one week, saying that certification of the vehicles has taken longer than expected, according to the website busandcoach.com.
The first new buses are now expected to enter service with Arriva London on 27 February on route 38 from Victoria to Hackney.
