It’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights: film openings this weekend

The wait is over. The Muppets roars into cinemas this weekend, and Scout London couldn’t be any giddier. Reviews have been excellent, and the film shows you can make a success of a family picture filmed in good old-fashioned 2D

Elsewhere, an all-star cast heads up David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method, and Daniel Radcliffe leaves the wand behind in the screen adaptation of The Woman in Black. And look who’s back – Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace gets the 3D treatment for its re-release in cinemas.
