Polanski examines family Carnage: film openings this weekend

Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster head up an all-star cast in Roman Polanski’s Carnage, a black comedy about two couples who meet up to try and make peace after a fight between their children. John C Reilly and Christoph Waltz play the spouses.

The well-reviewed Martha Marcy May Marlene also hits our screens, with a star-turning performance from Elizabeth Olsen, younger sibling of the Olsen twins. The always enjoyable Elizabeth Banks goes action on us in Man on a Ledge, and Jack and Jill will make you wonder why Hollywood studios think that it is still funny to get a male star to dress up as a woman (see: Big Momma’s House, The Nutty Professor).
