With only two shopping days until Christmas, a panic has set over London. Scout was on Oxford Street earlier and it looked like a war zone. If war zones had Topshop and Zara.
Help is at hand in the form of everyone’s favourite Australian-owned shopping centres. Westfield has gone all American on us and set closing times that are perfect for those still working and – more importantly – those of us who almost had a heart attack when we saw we missed the last order day on the Marks & Spencer website.
Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush is open until midnight – that’s right, midnight – tonight and tomorrow. It’s newer sibling in Stratford needs to get to bed a bit earlier so closes at 23.00, but in our book that’s pretty damn convenient.
Christmas Eve shopping hours are also on the generous side, with both Westfields open 8.00 until 18.00.
With opening times like this, there is no excuse for presents purchased from the all night garage this year.
