4 the weekend (26-28 Aug) from Scout London: clubs
Secretsundaze 10th Birthday

The weekend is fast approaching, and so here are Scout London’s four recommendations for clubs.

It’s a bank holiday the weekend, so you have at least 50% more reason to party; and clubland is offering great gatherings to supplement or substitute for carnival and the South West Four festival.

On Friday night, Trouble Vision presents Toddla T‘s ‘Watch Me Dance’ album launch party at Corsica Studios. South London hip-hop legend, Roots Manuva, performs on the night. There’s also a UK garage set from Zed Bias.

On Saturday, US house legend Kerri Chandler drops in to play a six hour set at East Village. Besides demonstrating his skills as a dj he’ll be adding keyboards and vocals to the mix.

Secretsundaze celebrate 10 years in the game with not one but two events. On Saturday DJ Rolando brings in the cake. On Sunday fellow Detroiter, Moodymann, blows out the candles. Residents James Priestley and Giles Smith play both parties.

Arguably the hottest carnival after party in town takes place on Sunday at Plan B in Brixton. Deadly Rhythm’s Carnival Special features David Roddigan, Dillinja (Valve Sound System) and Trojan Sound System. Let the good times roll.
